I love the commercials. Hell, the cave men will probably have their own show before too long. However, for the same price I can get State Farm to give me free advice when I select my coverages and give me personal service when I have a loss. They are the largest and have been so for the longest time.

State Farm should not try to compete with GEICO at making really cool commercials. They just can’t compete! For low cost, no hassle insurance, GEICO is the best. The problem that matters is that, like a medical diagnosis and surgery, I don’t want someone that hurries me through the process. I most likely won’t understand what I bought. I’m smarter than they credit me.

No, I’ll watch and be entertained by the commercials, but when my family’s safety and security is as stake, I want the company that was built on customer service and has a long, long history of being #1.
